Akon
Akon (né Alioune Badara Thiam) est un chanteur de R&B américaino-sénégalais né le 30 avril 1973 à Saint-Louis (Sénégal). Par la suite, il est parti s'installer aux États-Unis, à Jersey City, New Jersey. Akon parle anglais et wolof mais peu le français.

Akon a participé dans un des albums référence de l'histoire du rap : 'the score' des fugees en tant que membre de l'aile Refugees Allstar de Wycleff Jean. Il a quitté le groupe quelque temps après et poursuit depuis une carrière individuelle. Akon compte deux albums à son compte : 'Trouble' et 'Konvicted', chacun contenant respectivement les hits "Locked Up", "Lonely", Bananza (Belly Dancer) pour son premier opus et "Smack That", "I Wanna Love You" et "Don't Matter" pour le second album.

He came to fame as one of the lead singers of pop boy band 'N Sync and has won six Grammy Awards as well as an Emmy Award. With his first two albums, Timberlake has sold over 18 million records worldwide alone, as well as over 50 million copies as one of the two lead singers in NSYNC. He has started a record label called Tennman Records and a fashion label, William Rast.

Au Québec, il est diffusé depuis le 13 avril 2006 sur le réseau TVA ; en Suisse romande, depuis le 21 août 2006 sur la TSR ; en France, depuis le 31 août 2006 sur M6 ; en Belgique et au Luxembourg sur RTL-TVI depuis janvier 2007.
